Games of the Small States of Europe to be broadcast live on EOC Channel

The EOC is delighted that the 2025 Games of the Small States of Europe (GSSE) in Andorra will be broadcast live for the first time thanks to a collaboration with ANOC, enhancing visibility for National Olympic Committees (NOCs) participating at the unique event.

This will include the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and the full competition being shown on the EOC Channel (eoctv.org), ensuring the GSSE becomes more accessible than ever.

This will further expand the coverage provided by the EOC Channel, which has established itself through live coverage and highlights of the European Games and the European Youth Olympic Festivals.

Live broadcasting of the GSSE has been made possible by a collaboration with ANOC, which will coordinate the streaming through its Digital Acceleration Programme. All TV production will be done by Quality.

In addition to the live broadcast, ANOC will partner with the Organising Committee to provide targeted digital communications services for the nine NOCs, including a Digital Content Hub to distribute engaging content which can be used across their digital platforms.

The GSSE is one of the EOC’s multi-sport competitions and brings together athletes from European countries with fewer than one million inhabitants.

The NOCs of Andorra, Cyprus, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, Monaco and San Marino will all participate at the 20th edition in Andorra from May 26 to May 31 later this year, and the GSSE provides them with a unique opportunity to shine on the continental stage. More than 800 athletes will compete across 19 sports.

A full archive of the EOC Channel’s coverage remains available after all events and can be accessed here to relive the competitions.
